Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy covers the Transcript Access and Speaking Club subscriptions in the NihongoDekita Podcast app. It does not cover live courses or private lessons, which have their own policies on nihongodekita.com.

Cancel any time

You can cancel at any time from the Account page in the App. When you cancel, you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for. You will not be charged again after that.

No refunds, no free trial

Our subscriptions are digital services you can use as soon as you pay, so we do not offer a free trial, and we do not refund payments, including part of a period or a period you did not use. Please cancel before your renewal date if you do not want to continue.

When we will refund you

We will refund you only in these cases:

• We charged you by mistake, such as a duplicate charge or a charge after you cancelled. Email info@nihongodekita.com within 30 days with the email address on your account.
• We decide to close the service. We will tell you in advance and refund the unused part of your current period.
• The law requires a refund.

Deleting your account

Deleting your account in the App ends your access right away, and the current period is not refunded.

• Transcript Access is cancelled immediately.
• A Speaking Club subscription you bought in the App is set to end at the close of the current period and does not renew.
• If you joined Speaking Club through our earlier sign-up page, deleting your account does not cancel it. Please cancel it from the Account page first.

Speaking Club

Speaking Club payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel Speaking Club at any time from the Account page, and the same rules apply: you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, there are no refunds, and there is no free trial. If you join Speaking Club while you have a Transcript Access subscription, we cancel the Transcript Access subscription for you, because Speaking Club already includes it.
